Monday I ventured into downtown Frankfort, a place I have rarely been. Funny, because it is only 10 miles from my hometown. I never went to the west, always to the east, to Lexington, the Big City, the city of my high school, the city of where we shopped, the city of dreams. So Frankfort was a very pleasant surprise in many ways.
More to come...maybe.

When my daughter went to college in Kentucky, I had the opportunity to visit both Lexington and Frankfort. LOVED them both. Glad you got to explore someplace close to home.
Good grief, it shocked me, seeing you had updated. Where have you been? I know, I know... Frankfort.
Hi Mary!
We just drove past there Thursday...or was it Friday...on the way down here to London...didn't have time to stop so I think we'll stop when we get back. It's a very pretty little town, I like how you can stand on the edge and see everything in a bowl, kind of like Barbourville. I don't know that I would want to live there, though, because I've heard that the people aren't really as tolerant as they are in Louisville. It's really nice at the Capitol, though, to just go and sit. Very peaceful.
