At the Ballet

It's another Sepia Scenes Wednesday.

I'm not too sure this works as well in sepia as it does in color, but I wanted to use the photo this week. I love the way the little girl in the foreground is taking a break from the dance and how the other three year olds are doing their own thing.

And I like the motion going on with the girl to the left.

This is my grand daughters dance class that had a 40 minute recital Sunday. 40 minutes y'all! The last dance recital I went to lasted all afternoon. All After Noon. At my daughters dance recital, it went on all day. All Day!

Please check out the other's at Sepia Scenes.

Love this. What an explosion of energy. I expect this photo to jump into true life. I can almost hear all the noise and chatter.

That little one is the front is just being a little girl isn't she. :)
I see the color in your slideshow and think the sepia gives it a fairytale look I like with the litle ones.
Nice work.

My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.

Nice view! Our now 20-year-old daughter took ballet and tap when she was little. The sepia gives the girls here a classic monochrome, as if this shot could have been taken in an earlier era (1940-1990). What doesn't change in dance is the commotion this shows. A true classic

Oh, I love this. I did my daughter's ballet class in sepia a while back. What I love is adding a bit of color back into the sepia, for example, just the pinks. Like Degas, kid-style!

The photo is beautiful in sepia - It looks great! When the page loaded & I saw them in their little tutu's, I said, "Awww! - They're so cuuute"

Love it! I think sepia keeps everyone on the same page so to speak, so you can look around at all the little cuties and what thay are doing!
