Sepia Junk Yard

I really like this site Sepia Scenes! I took this picture while living in North Indiana. There were numerous junk yards scattered through out the roads and routes I drove. This made me pull over, a car sticking out of the dumpster! Originally I colored the car yellow, but this time I thought I would just add a light blue sky.

Super photo. I love old things, junk cars, falling-down buildings ---and they are great for sepia.

How intriguing - love sepia toned pix. I confess I'm here because I saw your blog name somewhere and it felt good to think any young/old hippies were still around lol. Me I'm a peace & love child from the 60s just trying to age with caution. Lovely home you have.

Nice shot...how'd you get the car into the dumpster anyway? ;)

I haven't been to the site, but oddly, I tend to dream in sepia tones. I love the shot. I think of it as someone's ex-husband's car, met with an unfortunate accident when he failed to pay child support.~Mary

it's funny how the sepia makes things look old even when it's not. :) Love it!
