My phone rang around 1pm.
"I got the job in Louisville", Joe declared in a matter of fact tone.
A few moments later, I was on my personal cell phone calling my Mom, my daughter, my Sisters, my pals in Lexington and dancing the dance of JOY in front of a Menards store in a far reaching North town in Indiana.
I'm going home!
I lived in Louisville all during the 1980's. I left in 1990 after receiving my BSBA from the University of Louisville and just wanting to move on.
Now I'm moving back.
I'm thrilled and joyous.
I'm in shock.
Joe starts his new position on Monday.
This means I get to sell the house again.
Let's hope that this time there are no trips to the hospital.
I'M GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!!

I'm visualising the scene in Rocky Horror where Frank-n-Furter is singing "I'm going home."
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations! Hope you sell fast in this market. Just in time for summer too.
Oh, I am happy for you. I like Luah-vulle a lot myself. My parents live there!
Sounds like that's where you want to be!
There is no place like home.
I have just started a new blog on top of my regular Gabreael blog you might want to check out. I will post the link below.
Happy Easter!

Oh, Mary! That is wonderful news! I know how much you have NOT liked the midwest. Maybe this will also give you the opportunity to wave bye-bye to the giant company you've been working for... Lots of possibilities opening up for you. Yay!
Awesome! Congratulations!!!
I'm hearing Alvin Lee at Woodstock--"I'm going home, home home home..."
Wow - so much! How wonderful. I love a good adventure. I'll be looking forward to reading all about it. Enjoy!
I am so happy for you! Now I've got Simon and Garfunkel in my head ... Home, where my heart is waiting, where my love light's (I hope I got that right) waiting, silently for me.
I am so happy for you! The market here is not too bad as long as you price correctly and I am hoping you didn't buy at the top of the market. My neighbor moved to Fla. a year ago and is coming back here. Home is where the heart is and your home is Louisville.
"I'm going home!"
Is there a happier phrase in any language? I'm thrilled for you. Hope you sell the house quickly and that the move is a breeze.
:-)
Vicki
Congratulations!
It's so important to live where your heart is
Think you're motivated and the motivation and love will help sell the house
FABULOUS!!!!!
What WONDERFUL and EXCITING news this is for you! I'm very happy for you. I don't think I could ever live in Indiana again ... it's okay just not for me. Washington is home for me - it's where I LOVE to be just as Louisville is for you. Wishing you the best in a quick sell of the Indiana home and a safe move home.
Also hoping you are having a healthy happy Easter! Been thinking about you.
